2014 Playoff pool

Great news everyone! I was the winner of the pool this year! Mike finished second, only 71 points back. Since there were only 6 teams in the pool this year, the money isn't as much of a factor, it's all about bragging rights. The total money pool was $120, $80 of which was used up by quarterly prizes, so the remaining $40 is split 75/25.

Yes, I know you're all excited for me and I appreciate it. But it's time to move on to the playoffs. Our playoff teams are Rochester, Toronto, and Buffalo in the east, and Edmonton, Calgary, and Colorado in the west. Due to the modified playoff schedule, Rochester and Edmonton are guaranteed at least two games. The first round is the familiar single-game elimination ("one and done") format the league has used for years, but second and third round series are a best of 2, with a 10-minute "mini-game" after game 2 if necessary.

I'll make the changes for the playoff pool later today and hopefully everyone can get their teams in by game time on Saturday.
