The playoff pool is almost ready – once I switch it over to playoff mode, you will be able to pick your playoff teams. Sorry, you won't have much time, since the first playoff games are all on Saturday, so you have until I leave for the ACC on Saturday evening to pick your teams. However, I'm enjoying the "The winner is Graeme" thing right now, and if I switch it over to playoff mode, that will go away, so I'm going to leave that up for another day.
FYI, the playoff matchups are: Boston vs. Orlando and Buffalo vs. Toronto in the East, and Edmonton vs. Calgary and Minnesota vs. Washington in the West. The winners of those games play each other (in each division), and then the division winners face off for the whole enchilada. You shouldn't see any Rochester, Philly, or Colorado players listed anywhere, but if you do, I would advise you not to pick them as their point totals will likely not contribute much.
We had a record 11 people in the pool this year. At $20 each, that's a prize pool of $220. Subtract the four quarterly prizes ($80), and we have $140. Since I came in first, I get to not pay anyone 75% of that ($105), while second place (Jeff) wins $35.
As for the playoff pool, the four quarterly winners (me, Steve, Faisal, and Jeff) are all paid, as is Lynda, our regular season consolation winner. I need $20 from everyone else who joins.
