It's over!

Looks like I'm the big winner of the playoff pool! The final game won't be played for almost two weeks, but I don't think anyone can catch me. Steve, Lynda, Liam, Kerri, Faisal, and Jeff have no players left that I don't have, so they definitely can't catch me. Mike has Stephen Hoar, who I don't, but Hoar would have to have a 43-point game for that to happen. Hoar, incidentally, averaged just over 16 points a game in the regular season. Jerry has to hope that Shawn Evans and Bill Greer outscore Shawn Williams by 78 points for him to win.

In the second place race, Lynda and Liam can't catch Steve, but Mike could, again with Stephen Hoar having a very big game.

Of course, this doesn't really mean that I win money, it just means that I don't need to give out any money. Current money situation as I see it:

• I owe Jeff $75 for regular season win
• I owe Faisal $25 for regular season 2nd place
• I owe Jerry $20 since he paid for the playoff pool but came in last in the regular season
• I owe Todd $20 since he paid for the playoff pool but didn't pick a team
• Mike, Liam, and Lynda each owe me $20 for the playoff pool
• If the standings stay as they are, I will owe Steve $45 (25% of $180 (9 team * $20 each) for 2nd in the playoff pool

If I'm missing anything, please let me know!

Update: As of June 5. Lynda will give Jerry $20, so they're good, and I still have to pay Jeff, Faisal, and Steve.
As of mid-June. Gave/mailed cheques to Jeff, Faisal, and Steve.
