No surprise: Jeff is our first quarter winner. He's been leading the pack since week 1, and has actually been pulling away from the second place team (me) each week. There are three main reasons for this - his runner selections, his goalie selections, and his wild card selections. You can see Jeff's name at the top of a number of lists: Team Points per Game (sorted by anything except name), Unique players, goalies (top three), runners (seven of the top 10), and wildcards (top three). Well done Jeff, but everyone can rejoice in the fact that you cannot win any more quarters.
If you don't think penalties killed the Rock last night, you obviously weren't watching the game, but how's this for a telling stat: Rochester had ten power play goals last night. Don't know if that's a league record or not, but it's gotta be close...
